I have visited many affiliate websites in the last 3 months. One thing to notice right away is the enormous amount of stores each site displays and how taunting it is to go through 800 stores looking for that special item. I can't imagine.
On the site itself we will be adding a section for men items only. They like shopping too and it will be much easier for the impulse buyer to just click on the link and see whats inside.
On the home front our son goes back to Virginia Tech for the spring semester and I will drive with him part of the way. I am looking "forward" to 12 hours of techno music.Actually there are many songs made for driving. The rest of the time is talk, talk, talk. How wonderful.

After much discussions with my website designer we decided to get the site "live" and do some test runs. Some features are incomplete and some major fine tuning is necessary. I do have a listing of at least 40 to 50 stores and more are on the way. I like the ones chosen so far. Not many big known names and those only shows up with time and how long one have been online. Maybe i will keep it just the way its is. Smaller merchants with great products at a good price. They have great offers and they are here to help.
I am taking great care in selecting merchants for all categories. i have visited the websites, checked the links and the coupons. I like free shipping, so a lot of them offer free shipping.
I wanted to offer a nice prize raffle to my visiting customers, with a minimum purchase from one of our merchants. The question right now is how to track those customers once they click thru. We are thinking of an e-mail message with a copy of a receipt. Nothing has been decided but i think visitors would like that.
